This policy explains what cookies we use and why. By using M-Factory you consent to the use described below.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They allow a site to remember you between pages and sessions.

2. Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary (no opt-out — site won't work without them)

• Clerk session cookies — keep you signed in.
• CSRF token — protects against cross-site request forgery on form submissions.
• Cookie consent flag (mfactory_consent) — remembers that you have seen this banner.

Functional

• Theme / UI preferences — stored in localStorage, not a cookie, but logically equivalent.

Third-party

• Stripe sets cookies during checkout for fraud prevention. These run only on the Stripe-hosted checkout page.

We do not currently use marketing or behavioural-advertising cookies.

3. Managing Cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and break the service. You can withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing your browser data — the consent banner will reappear on next visit.

4. Changes

If we add new cookie categories (analytics, marketing), we will update this policy and re-prompt for consent.
